Denise Rubin Realty garners top honors at BASF ceremony

When Denise Rubin of Denise Rubin Realty won seven awards, including Best Real Estate Professional of the Year honors for the fourth consecutive year, at April ceremonies organized by the Builders Association of South Florida (BASF), it was a stunning continuation of success in a career that has been punctuated with accomplishments.

Rubin opened Denise Rubin Realty this year. “We can be trusted to deliver excelling in every transaction,” she says. “We’re exceptional professionals who provide exceptional services for exceptional properties.”

BASF awards are recognized statewide as premiere prizes in the building industry in more than two dozen categories.

In addition to her best-of-year honors for the past four years as a real estate professional for personal achievement, Rubin has earned 10 other awards for marketing and personal promotion from 2005-2006. In the marketing category she was honored in 2007 with a platinum awards for Outdoor Product Billboard, for her website, gold medals for multi-media campaigns both in the condo/high-rise, and single-family home categories, and in the direct mail category.

“Real estate has opened so many doors,” she says, “and afforded me the opportunity to work with so many wonderful clients and celebrities, that I feel responsibility to help others in the community who might not be as fortunate.”

The Sun Post named Denise best broker and best realtor in Aventura and a Power Woman of Real Estate. She’s one of the top 500 in Who’s Who In Luxury Real Estate internationally and in 2005 earned her place in the Coldwell Banker Legends Society, which is open to only 0.5% agents worldwide.

“This is more than where I work,” Rubin says of the Aventura area. “This is my community. It’s where I live. I want to continue to be an integral part of positive change here.”

Born and raised in Long Island, she started a boutique business at the age of 17; she later sold at a profit. She considers herself “a perennial student who believes knowledge is everything.” She holds degrees from New York University and the New York School of Interior Design as well as CMS, CCRS, CIS, CRS and International Marketing Specialist designations for continuing education.

Rubin is active in many civic organizations and is past president of the Suburban League for the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, a founder for Mount Sinai and a member of the Love & Hope committee since 1984. She is also a strong supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis foundation and the Humane Society.
